    Yagur Hydroponic Agriculture

Intensive and controlled crop production is becoming more popular globally as a way to improve the yield and quality of vegetables. Hydroponic technology has been developed and used in many greenhouses worldwide, and crop growing methods have become highly precise. In recent years, enrichment technology such as oxygenated irrigation water and Nanobubbles, which increases the availability of nutrients and beneficial bacteria, has been introduced. The use of Nanobubbles for aeration and oxidation has been shown to increase yields by 20-30%.

In this particular site of 6,000 sqm of hydroponic deep water floating raft culture (DWC) greenhouse:
Each production pool is 30 meters in length and 6 meters in width. Each raft contains five lettuce plants. Production pool water volume: 18-20 m3.

    Fresh Weight

    Increase in Weight 23%.

Enriched fertigation water with Nano air bubbles increased the average fresh weight of the lettuce by 23% or alternatively shortened the growing cycle by three days, which represents an additional two growing cycles per year.

Based on grower cost and profit conditions, the ROI is 6 months.
